I've just started a new job. And am already stressed up to my eyeballs and having sleepless nights about it. Too early to quit it?

Nope. Your health is the most important thing. If you don't like it - leave provided you can cope in the meantime.

Talk to whoever manages/hired you about it?

If it's affecting you outside working hours then no it's not too soon.

I was in the same position a few years ago. Took a job and within a week I knew it wasn't for me.

Spoke to the manager who didnt really care so I left.

Don't make yourself I'll over it.

Voice of reason... just make sure you have something else lined up 1st or can manage without work for a while.

Made the same decision a while ago and being out of work is just as/more stressful.

Only you know the answer. If it's a job that you're trained or experienced at doing then what's creating the stress? Have you had company training? Do you have a line manager you can talk to about expectations? Good luck. I hope things work out for you.

Sometimes stress can be self-inflicted by not availing yourself of the necessary skill or information required to gain competency ....
