I did this in high school to buy Lucy's. Or we'd go halves on packet of 10, less than £2 then I think

There and to the left a bit

"Pink Custard"

Blimey that's taken me back...at my junior school they used to chill it overnight and serve it as a standalone mousse/blancmange kind of thing the next day too!!

For some reason though the school dinner that sticks in my memory is sausage, chips and beans at Secondary School...followed by a small block of ice cream wrapped in paper.

I remember buying 10b&h, a box o f matches and a marsbar an d having 12p change from a quid.

At the risk of being ridiculed....

At school I often had spotted dick.... But a few visits to the school nurse sorted it out.....

Packed lunch in junior school and I lived around the corner at comprehensive so went home for lunch.

Although looking at the menu the mini beast gets I quite fancy school dinners these days

My secondary school did a cracking sausage roll. Primary school I had packed lunches. I don't think I ate lunch for the whole of y10&11 because I saved my dinner money to spend on going out at the weekend.
