My 2 children under 16, are getting far too much inappropriate Internet access.

Is it at all possible that I can restrict what they receive and look at on their mobile phones, but keep mine and my partners settings as they are? Can this be done in the WiFi settings somewhere?

If all the contracts are on one account, you can do it on your phone on MY EE or whatever network you're on x

We use Norton Parental Controls which allows you to specify on a per device basis what children are allowed to look at. Also provides weekly reports of what they've looked at, when they've tried to look at blocked sites/apps etc.

Works for tablets, smartphones and PCs etc and doesn't prevent adults viewing specific content via a different log in on the same device.

Seems to work pretty well for us.

My Own Little World

Parentsafe on Microsoft block adult sites on my kids PC account. And I have an 18 block on their phone, so they can't access any adult sites. Check for Apps that can age block phones and tablets aswell.

Also check your router settings, on some routers you can block named sites, you choose what ones.

You can completely lock down all of the parental controls on your Wi-Fi coming into the house, and then access your own using a vpn app.

Of course they might also download a VPN but if you don't think theyou are switched enough to then this would work for you, at least while you are connected to wifi.
