Accounts hacked

Today's paper's report hacking of swinging and sex sites.

Could Admin please confirm that we are safe from this?

No one is safe IMO. It's one of he risks you have to be willing to take. Fortunately for me, I don't have many family and those l have wouldn't care.. and it doesn't matter professionally. That's why I put face pics up.

There's always going to be a risk. I'd have thought something like fabswingers is small enough to not be worth their while, it's not a big business in the same way as things like AFF and Ashley Madison which have been hacked so far.

But that risk is still there, so it would seem sensible to only give the site information which it wouldn't affect you if it was released, e.g. throwaway email address.

Simple rule, you go on the internet you're open to criminals. Always take your personal security seriously.

See it all the time with the lads on Facebook. Posting everything they're doing. Some of which is pretty hush hush! To be fair they're the young'uns and usually excited about stuff. But even so.

Security is and always has been our number one priority.

And has been for the 10 years we have been doing this.

Aff has been hacked many times.

As we've said before though why take any risk at all. Never share anything online if you'd be upset if it was mis used

Though really! It's a filter I use when I don't want to meet. Lots of forumites hide their profiles. To be honest I usually unhide when I'm chatting on the forums but cba past few days. Don't mean I'm fake!

What possible motive would there be for hacking this site? It makes no money.

If it were to be hacked, nothing could be done about it anyway, if the presidential campaign manager can have his emails hacked, I don't this site would be able to avoid it.
