"Hey guys I thought I'll ask on here as I see there is always plenty of people into their fitness etc. I'm around 5'5 and like 11st so I want to loose a bit of weight and tone up but as being a complete noob I'm kinda clueless. Does anyone have any good diet or fitness tips that could point me in the right direction? Thanks That's very vague mate, you would need to post what you currently eat and your current physical activities level in order to receive any sound advice " Atm I don't really do much exercise other than work which could mean I could walk anywhere from say 1km to 10km plus depending on how busy I am (I do shift work so 2 days 2 nights 4 off) which doesn't seem to help really. Diet I eat around once maybe twice a day depends on what I'm doing if I'm at work or not tend to eat alot of meat potatoes etc rice chicken it varies also probably alot of Chinese kebabs etc

So you are not eating enough or exercising properly so you won't have not much muscle I'm guessing, best advice for you would get yourself to a gym with a "decent" trainer who will advise you on your nutritional Needs and a sound training program By the sounds of it you need some close one on one guidance which you won't get on here my friend

"Not an expert, but try and look into macro nutrients; the carb/protein/fat content of what youre eating. A general reduction in carbs and fats while increase proteins will help. Drink water can help you feel more full." This! I track my macro needs that are tailored to my current training phase. I do not..DO NOT..cut out all carbs. Not even when I am doing a hardcore cut phase. Our body needs carbs, just try to eat better carbs. You should definitely be eating more than once a day, your metabolism will thank you. Your training would be dependant on lots of aspects including current activity level, fitness level, health etc. I would recommend seeing a PT or gym instructor for a more tailored plan. Eve. X

They will ask you the pertinent questions and work out an exercise and diet plan for you. You'll be surprised how much you can eat and lose weight. I eat more than I did when I was 20kg heavier. Little and often of the right foods and move more. Good luck.
