The shows credibility or rather viability is quantified by its ratings. All the time people watch and comment it will continue.

I turned off on Saturday.

Ask most people to name a singer in the current X-Factor and most people will either not have a clue or will say Honey G. X-Factor always has a pantomime villain to get people talking, it just amuses me that people get so angry about her
