I think some do and thank you to them, they are usually in roles that we all benefit from.

They're probably filling the jobs that the lazy, feckless, benefit claimants from your earlier post just don't want to do

Yes they do. I am sure there are no british workers working in the fields picking potatoes or tomatoes, as it is too hard work.

the fields and pack houses in kent are full of migrant workers....as the young british kids of today are too lazy to work and try to better themselves.A farmer we know says he will never employ another british worker....sad day in many ways but understand his plight

Why should they work for unlivable wages? Is farmer John paying the minimum wage? If so it baffles me why British people would work in ASDA for min wage but not in a field? Something smells fishy.

"Fish packing is another low paid job...."

and smells really fishy

I don't hear of many youngsters doing the same shitty kinds of work that I remember most people doing when we were students etc.

I also find that customer service in cafes and restaurants is often much better by foreign staff.

That's funny because former communist countries have zero concept of customer service like a capitalist country has... My family lived in Eastern Europe before they fled.

A fair days work, for a fair days pay. When farmer barleymow wants too pay a fair days pay i'm sure some brits will want to work for him. For now he'll just have to make do with the migrants he houses on his land, working for poor wages minus lodgings for even less wages. I'm sure this works for farmer barleymow.

Same could of been said after the second world war when my father who was Polish came the to UK for a better life as there was nothing to return home for when the war ended. His village was bombed and at the age of 16 was taken prisoner by the Germans and spent the war years in a force labour camp. I can put my hand on heart and say my father was one of the hardest working man I've ever known. He paid his taxes and didn't claim anything from the state and sadly passed away in 2006 aged 86
