i had a meet today up for yesterday which meant what it was

meet with a _iew for sex simple

the people who messaged me was varied and a few who i message me alot i said come on then we will meet

and then didnt get back in touch

so have you had it where people are all mouth

some like the "idea" of a meet but when it actually becomes too real then they bottle it for what ever reason. but there are however plenty who do meet on here . if theyve not answered after afew messages then just think posative ,at least youve not wasted your time on them not showing up and you can move on to someone who will. xx

yes this does seem to happen, our theory is that they have other meets on the cards and are preparing back up. The least they could do is give you a firm yes or no, if they much us about we don't forget and I don't suppose you will either.

I have had a couple but its all part and parcel of swinging. Some people just get cold feet.

same here... had a meet canceled today... but they were celerbrating the birth of their 1st grandchild and they did forwarn us it may happen.. just rearranged a date..

Its the way of swinging isnt it, if you asked them to meet, and they didnt respond, then obviously they just didnt want to.

We have this type of thread from single guys all the time dont we. Its not any different for any gender on here. There are people who genuinely want to meet, and there are those that dont, but like to play the game.

Like the single guys are told, it takes time. Dont be disheartened - move on.

But I certainly wouldnt keep them on friends list or converse with them again if you had asked and they just blatently ignored until after the event. It is very rude, but you have to get tough with it.

In the last 8 months I have had 18 arranged meets

10 after setting the date and time, I never heard from again or they left site

5 cancelled last min (of which 3 gave no excuse at all)

3 were no shows

I've experienced No Shows for various reasons, or "last minute" phone calls or texts to say the other people have changed their minds, but the worst was this.

I'd arranged to see a couple, with whom I'd been messaging and talking to for a couple of weeks. They'd decent verifications on their Profile etc, so they appeared OK. The date of the meet was set and I drove about 120 miles down the M1 to an agreed Junction where I was to ring them; they'd then meet up with me to show me the way to their home.

All went OK; I got to the M1 Junction and I called them; they said they'd only be 10 minutes! Thirty minutes later, they hadn't appeared, so I phoned them, to be told "Oh, we've changed our minds! Hope you haven't had a wasted journey!"

I didn't know whether to scream or cry!

well the dozy biatch that i am sometimes, was looking at the meet today yesterday to put our name down for a social, but what i didnt realise was i also put a meet today on as well, wasnt until i got message before we where going out that i knew i had one up had to message people back and apoligise and tell them i didnt mean to put it up

In the last 5 years i will say 5 years as a cut off point. Ive never had a no show. No straight forward cancellations without arrangements for another time.

Ive had quite a few where we have had to rearrange or hold on for awhile. Think i must be due for one
