I quite like Facebook, I hide updates from all the people who annoy me such as my friend who's obsessed by Elvis and writes about him as if she knows him.

It's great for keeping in touch with my friends in Japan (bonus is that I can't read Japanese I have no idea what their updates say) and far flung relatives.
