Ok I've had a great run on here and I fully acknowledge that, but I am suffering depression (diagnosed by GP) and feel that the rejection on here is too much for me. Yes I know that sounds childish and I'm bound not to be everyones cup of tea, but I'm off till my confidence is up my weight is down and my tollerance to rejection is up. I have only stayed on here so long as my wife meets guys regularly, but I'll just continue being the glorified babysitter that I am. Goodbye all have fun, look forward to the disparaging remarks before I leave

One of the saddest posts I've seen here for a long time, a man suffering from depression, not helped by sexual rejection on fab and a wife who continues to swing, when he doesn't want her to, wow! (Hope we've read that correctly) so he can help the 1st issue by hiding or deleting his profile, but how about the 2nd?

Maybe it's time for the wife to help her husband by not swinging, if she can't stop, maybe it's time for you both to seperate, maybe that will be beneficial to your wellbeing xx

This is exactly why i don't wanna swing. I'd hate that too, even knowing i could easily get more sex than my partner i would primarily want my partner sexually but still hate it if he went and fucked another woman. I know 100% swinging is not for me, just the sex while single was good enough but there's too many fake nice guys and attached guys cheating online and it pisses me off, snidey little shits that they are.

This is spot on. Probably not my place to say, but if you're going through a rough time OP, your other half should be supporting you, not shagging about and making the matter worse. Just my humble opinion though

Good luck in whatever you choose to do, whether that be to stay for the forums, banter and support or leave for a while. However I do think that a honest conversation with your wife would be a good start especially as you say that things have suffered in the bedroom department. Swinging is there to add excitement and passion to what you've already got not to replace it.

The new ground is going to be at the Lakes not far from M181 junction which will be changed to a roundabout and the motorway will become an A road.

There will be a hotel, training grounds and leisure complex, as well as the new homes that are going to be built.

I don't think it's an issue of being thin skinned at all, you're perfectly normal. A partner should be looking out for you and not making you feel worse.

i hadn't socialised for four years when i decided to join this scene. i just knew it wasnt good for me to be on my own so much. one day someone touched my leg because of a twisted ankle and my body went into shock..i recognised this was not a good reaction. before i bottled out i rang a club asked if i could join and come along that friday night (it was tuesday i think) they said yes and due to meeting folks there i heard about here..and this is where i am now..it was defining moment for me. i hope this inspires, cos if i can do it, so can you ..maybe this thread is your defining moment xxx

OP good for you for posting in the first place. Definitely think stating on the forums is a good thing. I'm not meeting at the moment and hopefully won't be. However I love the forums so am staying of Fab for that reason. Plus I have made some lovely friends that I want to stay in touch with.

If the site is causing you that issue of rejection then why are you allowing your wife to meet other guys because surely if you feel like that on here when rejected how you feeling when she's got another guy in her?

Depression kills libido. But I would have thought a bit of marital support wouldn't go amiss. Your life though, live it your way. Good luck hopefully see you again very soon with your mojo back!

Then surely you need to break away from that because it's keeping you down. You should not stay with someone who's only using you if you're just a convenience to someone.

Just sounds to me like your surrounding yourself in a negative situation and maybe drowning in it cause you feel you've no way out.

Do whatever you need to do. We are all responsible for our own happiness. I find it serves me well not to rely on anyone else to sort out my life or make me happy.

Don't get me wrong it's lovely when someone comes along and gives me a reason to smile. But otherwise I wake up every morning and try to think positive thoughts.

If I hide my profile indefinitely it will still be the same mundane profile that nobody takes the time to read when I come back. Plus I have an addictive nature and wouldn't be able to stay. I'm not looking for any sympathy, but my wife asked me if I wanted tone away from her and the kids? (due to my low mood) I just feel I need to concentrate on other things at the moment. Eg divorce lawyers, gastric bands and maybe even a razor
