Doesn't it? Mr ddc" I think it shows you how that person might possibly treat their own body, but even then your assumption could be far from the reality of the reason their body may not be "fit". I would really like to understand how you extrapolate that to mean they would treat your body in one way or another? And here is where I make an assumption myself for the purposes of clarity -- are you suggesting that someone fat may force feed you?!

So at no point have I said that is solely what you are talking about -- happy to hear what you did mean, as I did say I would like to understand your opinion having read it and not understood the leap you made. I've not questioned others as I've not had reason to personally, I will review and see if anyone else made the leaps as you did that jarred with me -- but I think as it was the "treating of body to not be fit" = "a personality type" = "will treat you in a set way" point that you made was the one I'm seeking clarification on that your push back there is redundant. Again really happy to hear your view, just genuinely not comprehending your logic, nothing more. Hope the sauce goes well. I'm on a diet!

"As the vicar said to the actress you don’t look at the mantlepiece when your poking the fire Then why do we bother with ornaments on them and a mirror above?" To be fair, that's simply an argument for me to wear earrings and a rubber mask of the person we're meeting... Right, where was I... . So, are you all saying that often people with stunning bodies can't sometimes be a little narcissistic or shallow? Are you saying that often overweight people don't sometimes have body-confidence issues that manifests in a tendency to be a little overly-aggressive? Are you saying that people who spend all their time down the gym might, perhaps have less in common with someone with a dad-bod and a fondness for puddings? Are you saying that short people may not occasionally come across as having a chip on their shoulder, or tall people may come across as being a tad superior? How can the way you treat yourself honestly not reflect upon your personality? And why does that have to be an issue? Are we not all different? Do we not all have different tastes? And why is it so much more odd than "I like a person who was born with perfect teeth, symmetrical eyes and a plump face, because I feel they're more likely to be amazing at sex, kind and witty." That's the attitude that I find weird. Although I appreciate that I am trying to apply logic to emotions again.

That's the attitude that I find weird. Although I appreciate that I am trying to apply logic to emotions again. " But no one on this thread displayed that attitude about faces. People said they liked faces, sure. But I didn't see any posts that tried to link faces with personality traits or sexual ability or they way that person might behave towards you. The closest thing I can see is me saying I like kind faces. And no, I haven't ever experienced any correlation between personality traits or behaviours and body size/shape/type in the way that you describe but I'm not a statistically significant sample. I'm also interested in the suggestion you make about height and behaviours in there leading into your point about "how people treat themselves". I'm not aware height is something that's a result of how anyone treats themselves or their body. How bizarre. Yours sincerely, a superior and overly aggressive person (apparently).

"I force feed all my meets. But then, as can be seen from my face, I also pin them down and apply copious amounts of makeup to them. Why are you not bi Ruby? That sounds so hot. I don't think I need to be bi for a forced makeup application meet " I love the thrill of pinning a man down and giving him a make over. They pretend to hate it but they love it

(I thought I was on safe ground on that one) I'm sure I've read somewhere that face-attractiveness is linked to symmetry, and this is in turn linked to the unconscious decisions we make about passing on our genes. We are not here for procreation, or a relationship, or a date, so perhaps that is why we reject that criterion. You didn't explain why you feel someone with a pretty face would be better at sex?

" I didn't say I feel someone with a pretty face would be better at sex. The question wasn't defined that way. It was just "pick one". I went for face, because it's what I usually find myself more drawn to when I meet someone. I also specifically said that a face I find attractive isn't the same as a pretty face. I can totally understand body being a more important consideration for someone, but only in the sense of attraction. I don't see the link between body type and personality OR face and personality. Am I subliminally more attracted to certain faces because I think they'll be a better shag? If I am, it's just that - subliminal and unconscious.

"As the vicar said to the actress you don’t look at the mantlepiece when your poking the fire Then why do we bother with ornaments on them and a mirror above? To be fair, that's simply an argument for me to wear earrings and a rubber mask of the person we're meeting... " Sorry if I took it on a tangent... I don't think it was me that made the initial correlation between physical attributes and abilities however... I just hate body shaming threads " Tbf, that wasn't your fault. It was mine for not doing my research properly and realising that any answer other than "face" is considered body-shaming.

" I don't subscribe to the ugly people try harder rhetoric either though, so we're obviously starting from opposing views on this. But you wouldn't know because you aren't unattractive. I feel like i need to justify why someone has chosen to have sex with me because it isn't for my looks and it certainly isn't for my body so I'd better do something to make it worth their while. So you may not subscribe to it but there is an element of truth behind it. First off - I don't know what you look like so my response is in no way a reflection of that, but is in response to the way you've described yourself. You've decided I'm attractive. I agree, I think I am, when appropriately dolled up. If you're unattractive, then how would you know what it's like to be attractive? Do you think I just, what, lie there and look pretty? That I'd show such little respect to the people I'm meeting? That I wouldn't try to please them or try to be entertaining, or funny, or whatever? you have commented before that you're lazy in bed Of course I'm not saying that. Just i feel i need to make extra effort. That's all. This isn't all about ruby. . Oh, I didn't realise self-deprecation had become the preserve of the unattractive. If you feel responding to you directly quoting my post is making it all about me then that's unfortunate. Well you took something i said about myself and turned it into something offensive towards yourself. Yeah. I'd call that making it about you. Sorry if you were offended by my calling you attractive. I'll know better for future. " I wasn't offended by any of what you said; just challenging the logical conclusion of it. Ugly people try harder, ergo attractive people try less. I don't think that's true, so I challenged the statement.

I also don't want you to think we are ganging up on you, but can I point out that of the three people who took issue with my first post, and demanded justification, you are none of them. Perhaps this is why you are struggling to understand my point: it is not aimed at you!

The way i feel? | |||

I also did not 'demand justification'. I simply got confused by your reply ( because you read the question wrong, something you openly admitted), and asked for you to elaborate, so I could understand your reply more. I even wrote further up the thread, that I understand your reply more now, knowing you misinterpreted the question. So please don't imply that I demanded you justify your comments, because I took issue with it. That is simply not the case.

I mentioned body shaming... I get a bit sensitive about being skinny and ugly... I should probably stay out of this type of thread... Apologies to all... happy swinging and well, you know... kisses

" Okay, so "asking for elaboration" may not quite be identical to "demanding justification", but it seems pretty similar when one has spent the best part of an evening trying to defend a throwaway remark made while waiting for the kettle to boil.

" I blame the op for saying we must pick one. ..i would have ignored this thread if it didn't say i must" I blame my semi-autistic mistrust of faces, mis-application of logic, and inability to understand societal norms. Life, eh?
