Could you?

So could you live without your phone? Clearly aimed at those that own one, as we are fully aware that you don't

Reason I ask is because I broke mine today and have been waiting for it since 1pm, they ended up saying they'd bring it to me when done around 6pm, well it's clearly gone 6pm! While I'm not bothered about whether people have tried contacting me or not, I'm bothered about the content on the damn thing So I don't think I'd feel lost without my phone, as long as it was completely clear!

I've had mine taken off me every morning when we go into prison. I don't miss it when I haven't got it but I'm glad to get it back at the end of the day!

Nope, use it for work, social networking, reading books, playing games, learning, playing music, watching telly etc etc etc

I rely on mine for work, so I definitely couldn't do without it... not even for one hour.

Not being able to access the internet when I'm out and about would be a pain but I'm sure I'd get used to it again.

We'd cope, of course but why cope? Phones are part and parcel of modern living.

Could I live without my car? Sure, but why would I want to?

"Lost? No, I think I'd be better off without my phone. "

Is that due to time spent on it?

It's something I've been asked every Monday for the past 6 weeks, I always say yes, but when he suggested we put our phones in a bag and collected it the following week, none of us agreed to that. I guess if optional, I would choose to keep it; but if it was lost, stolen, or they became extinct then I'd be fine as it wasn't something I'd decided.

A bit. It's also that I don't like being easily accessible at all times by anyone.

Central

I've lost them before but now do automatic backups. I can live without them and regularly leave it at home.

I live in my own time zone that's a little displaced from years that think I should be contactable at any moment.
