The one that changed my life most profoundly was the advert campaign for Goodyear Grand Prix S tyres with a solemn voice over from former Scotland Yard supremo Sir Robert Mark.

"I'm convinced they're a major contribution to road safety" he remarked.

I was never the same after that until the "THINK ONCE, THINK TWICE...THINK BIKE" campaign with the karate chopping hand.
