An Armed Man: Benedictus by Karl Jenkins.

Reminds me of 2 mates from years ago.

I can sit back and reflect. No matter how angry or what's happening in my life troubles just flutter away.

Beautiful music.

I tend not to have days like that thankfully. If I am in the mood for really relaxing music I play one of the classical playlists on Spotify

I've quite a few songs where the intro in particular palpably relaxes my body and I switch off and listen.

At the moment the ones that spring to mind are:

The Music - Human

Starsailor - Tie up my hands

Paulo Nutini - Iron sky

Amy Winehouse - You sent me flying

There's more.

For me with my eclectic range of music, the music to which I can totally relax and disappear into a new world elsewhere is a choral composition by Jean Mouton.

It's "Nesciens Mater" get the version sung by the Monteverdi Choir on Youtube.

I defy anyone not to go absolutely relaxed after hearing this.

by the big field

I've got a pretty huge collection of 90's ambient. I can definitely recoomend The Orb- Live 93, Golden Claw- All Blue Review, Pete Namlook- Air (good luck finding this though), Starfish Pool- Chillout n Confused, Future sound of London- Lifeforms, 3 phase- shlangenfarm, Goldie- Timeless, Portishead- all 3 albums are brilliant...Dummy/Portishead/Third, Anything from Banco De Gaia.

And if you don't fancy any of that lot, just go on youtube or spotify and find some proper old school dub reggae

Amazingly beautiful piece. Been listening to the string quartet version a lot recently. I think I actually prefer it to the full version these days.
