Are you the type to embrace it as soon as is culturally acceptable or do you put it off for as long as possible?

I've done a good half of my present shopping & made a tiny start on colouring in a few Christmas cards...

Present wise I buy throughout the year as for the rest of it I'm not fussed.

When the kids were little I used to make a big fuss but now they are older they just want the presents and food.

I buy presents as I see them. For example, I was just in Harrods being touristy and saw the perfect presents for my 2 nieces. Reasonably priced, so I bought them.

The rest of it doesn't bother me. I usually work it.

I would do it all early but sadly money doesn't allow it until at least the 23rd of this month, until I get my first couple of weekly pay packets I can't get excited about Christmas, up until then we're living Day by day and Christmas is the last thing we need to think about or I will stress even more!

I donlt do Christmas at all abd have already had oeople ask "but you must buy presents?" like I've made sp,e ridiculously ambiguous statement

I get that Christmas is more and more about greed and consumerism (and less and less about any hint of religous festival) so people have to buy presents weeks/months beforehand but why people have to go on about it for so long is beyond me unless it;s because they hemorrhage so much money on it they do nothing of interest for months leading yup to Decemnber

simply because i love Christmas and i could.

Its an artificial tree with sparkly lights thats decorated in bright colours.

It just makes the front room look really snug and cosey. Its a feel good thing i guess.

I ignore it until December ha ha. Not because I'm a Scrooge but just because I don't want to be sick to death of it by the time Christmas actually rolls around.

It gets earlier every year.

Eve. Xx

nah i love it,, its just my favourite time of year.

My tree is very brightly coloured with pinks, purples, turquoise, silver, and white.. i add to it a little each year

got snow flakes, traditional baubles, penguins, hand sewn decorations, sequin type balls, mirror balls, stars, icles, angels, jingle bells,

really is a modern coloured mixture tree :D

Christmas isn't about spending money, for me. Yes, the children get presents but it's my time to spend with all of my children and grandchildren, where we eat, drink and be merry.

This could be our last year of tracking Santa, which is a bit sad.
