To look...

So folks, now the bonfires are reduced to ash, and the fireworks but a damp squib, do you look forward to it?

Or feel that it shouldn't start until the week before?

Personally I won't do that till after remembrance sunday.

Seems to get earlier every year and too commercial.

I'm not a humbug but two weeks before is soon enough for me.

I'm starting to think about it but not looking forward to it just yet. We've been playing Christmas tunes at work for a few weeks so I used to find I peaked too early so try and curtail myself until 1st December now!!!

I have a friend who starts her countdown to Christmas round about the middle of the year...

But from now on is ok with me..

Having spent the weekend watching schmaltzy American Xmas films on ch5, I'm beginning to get into the spirit of things

It now starts way too early. And no, I don't look forward to it at all. I'll be glad when it's over.

I started shopping weeks ago. We'll be deciding what to have food wise soon, when we know who's coming.

I'll be having a Christmas pudding soon too

There and to the left a bit

For me...it's still far too early to be thinking about Xmas...ideally wouldn't start till 1st December but at least wait until a certain someone's birthday (19th November) has been and gone

Don't look forward to it much at all, I'm a right Grinch. The enforced jollity at a specific time when you might not feel like that, family politics, the logistics of 'duty' visits or hosting, the cost ..... I get very stressed out by it and want to run away.

Our Sainsburys was selling Hot Cross Buns last week though, what's that all about?

Poor chap hasn't even been born yet...

I often pick up presents throughout the year and begin to plan finer details in November.

I've got an operation on Nov 21st this year and don't know how long I'll be out of action so I'm inclined to get things started within the next week
