Clothes smell of fire!

Chester

Well, I woke up this morning after being out last night. My whole room and clothes stink of fire, what a horrible smell.

Does anyone know of any anti-fire smell measures? I think I might have to leave the window open (but it's freezing!) And I might dump my clothes outside for a day before putting them in the wash. Lol.

Just wash them and hang out to dry. You might need to open your window to get the smell out of your room though.

Remember the awful days when smoking was allowed in pubs, clubs and restaurants? Even your underwear and hair smelled after a night out.

London and France

Wash them;

Simple.

If they are only " smoky" then they probably only need the shirt wash, or the rinse programme.

But overcoats , outer garments, fleeces etc will lose most of that smell if hung outside for a few hours.

Clothes that fit in a tumble dryer can be freshened by half an hour in a cool tumble dryer with one of those freshener tissue things in.

When my family used to own a pub, the worst thing was waking up in the morning and your pillow was stinking

We even had his smoke extractors and filters, but it's never disguise that smell

However I love the smell of wood smoke

Not to go out to watch a bonfire, I find is a good way to stop your clothes smelling of fire.
