I'm 45 in 2 weeks and have found a few good ladies of various ages to meet but I do tend to find ladies my age wat to meet younger guys ??

Don't know really.....as I approach the big five-oh I have wondered. Particularly as most of my meets (and on previous profile) have been with younger.

But I suppose every year I get older....so does everyone else....do they move their age ranges up accordingly?

I'm actually 53, but decided to put my age at 48, it cuts me out of a lot of peoples age range, I can't message a lot of people, but they can still contact me!! Bit unfair I think x

Ive been here 4 years and having a great time. There are plenty of younger guys who like older women .. not so many men my age who want to meet me though. I get more messages from ages ranges between 30 to 40 than 40 to 50.

55 works good for as me most women go for personality over age any day, a woman i like may have a age cut off point etc but when i meet her in the flesh (if i get the chance that is) the age thing goes out the window.

Yes I agree. We have met lovely people our age and older but most messages are from the 28-40 bracket. Some younger, despite being out of our age range!

Age is just a number. I believe it is more important to click with a person to have good fun. Yes you are not the 21yr old slim blonde supermodel all guys dream of, but let's be realistic, does she even exist .

On the whole i'd agree!

I've come across men and couples who have an upper age of 35, 40 or 45 - but on the whole they tend to be willing to meet a far broader age spectrum than we ladies are!

We tend to be more age specific because we have a lot more choice - therefore it's men who may struggle after a certain age! Xx

I dropped out of the looking for 18-30 bracket this year which was a shame and I'm now in the black hole of 31-34. I find the ones who want younger are looking 30 and younger sometimes 28ish and the ones going for more their age seems to be 35plus.

I agree with this, you may fall off the filters so don't appear as much in searches etc but if you make the initial contact you'll find some willing

I'm 41 (42 in December) and find it's younger men who message most (until I fiddled with my age ranges). Not many men my age message me. My height/size no doubt puts men off too though.

I've always assumed that older men prefer women in their 20's and 30's.

I'm not even sure you can answer whether there's an 'optimum' age .... does it matter which age group is most popular so long as you, as an individual, are getting what you want from Fab?

I don't lie about my age and so far this doesn't seem to have been any sort of disadvantage. I know I'm 'too old' for some and while occasionally you find a profile you'd otherwise have been interested in, it's not worth getting upset about because, as a female, there's always so many other potential opportunities.

I try to present myself in the best way I can, in my profile and in the way I interact with people and am happy with the results .... despite my advanced age

I like to chat and meet ladies in their 40s and 50s

The conversation is great and can have a laugh and lots of fun

The younger girls are too boring and shy or reserved unfortunately
