Fireworks have started and our little Chihuahua is terrified, shaking like a leaf bless her, Our Westie on the other hand is oblivious to it and is snoring her head off.

Not anymore but Mrs W used to sit in the stable with a terrified horse until midnight every night for about two weeks every year. Was horrible, personally I'd ban them From General sale and limit the days they can have organised ones

Our cat isn't terrified but he's jumpy. Sadly we had to have our 15 year old cat put to sleep on Tuesday and he's wondering what's going on there so fireworks aren't helping.

Our cavachon ws quite jumpy beginning of the week but a cuddle and a reassuring firm stroke on the top of her head and above her ears has calmed her dwn a great deal. She only just barks at the ones tat are too close now few and in between.

similar with my cat was not sure how she wood act as she could not go out first year I ad her, but now a week latter of fire works she's ok just looks for um, was asleep, but there was a huge one that most of woken her up.

Feliway plug in is awesome for any type of anxiety with cats. It mimics the facial pheromones and helps them to relax. We use it all year round to help minimise the stress and disagreements of having a multi cat household

My British bulldog is sleeping and pays fireworks no attention. My Staffordshire Bull Terrier watches them from my window.

Apart from a couple short round of very close fireworks,they just barked a bit at least not for long but when the volume of TV only goes to 100 doesn't mask loud noise,just surprised my German Shepherd was calmer than I thought as she normally tries to sit on my lap literally lol with any noises like this these days just cause she got a fright few yrs back,even the puppies had to start a chorus of barks at the sounds...ughs

My 9 month old, who barks and growls at all kinds of objects and noise, has slowly been getting used to them. He still jumps at the really loud ones, but ignores the rest. I see him looking at me for my reaction, so I ignore them too. The 6 week old isn't taking any notice at all.
