Fanuary - The renamed month of January where women let their fannies grow freely to raise money for gynaecological cancers. With the catchphrase "Wax is Wak, Bring Muff Back", Fanuary is similar in concept to Movember.

Fanuary was created to raise money for the Women for Women charitable trust.

I totally support the ladies in this campaign .

Everyone should do what they're comfortable with, this is just an idea to spread awareness more effectively .

I usually am hesitant when it comes to donating money since a lot of it isn't actually used for the actual cause. I have donated to a few charities over the years though

Seems a bit odd to me to raise awareness the first thing I had to do was remove all hair when I had my cancer. Maybe times have changed that you can be hairy now before a procedure.

more than one guy thinks it's their right to have an opinion on my pubic hair. that's what i love about fab, and i know guys moan about women having all the power but it's about time we had some -and certain men realised that we have.

and i know the media supports women more now, but actually putting our power into place in a still somewhat patriarchal society is very interesting and refreshing and why i make half the comments that i do on here.

i used to be shaved so can understand why they expect the same now. they still want to meet, and don't say anything at the time either (so it's not really put them off) they just expect me to pander to them still.

dunno how i feel about it. on the one hand i get that they're used to something, on the other i don't get why they think i should care. especially as i've never asked a guy to change for me.

i've never told a guy to do one for expecting something, i just ignore their requests and tell them i like keeping it. not one of them has said anything about that. in fact, if anything, men do say stuff but i think they do get that deep down they can't force us to anything. so if they're dropping their standards because i won't change then who am i to say anything?

more than one guy thinks it's their right to have an opinion on my pubic hair. that's what i love about fab, and i know guys moan about women having all the power but it's about time we had some -and certain men realised that we have.

and i know the media supports women more now, but actually putting our power into place in a still somewhat patriarchal society is very interesting and refreshing and why i make half the comments that i do on here.

i used to be shaved so can understand why they expect the same now. they still want to meet, and don't say anything at the time either (so it's not really put them off) they just expect me to pander to them still.

dunno how i feel about it. on the one hand i get that they're used to something, on the other i don't get why they think i should care. especially as i've never asked a guy to change for me.

i've never told a guy to do one for expecting something, i just ignore their requests and tell them i like keeping it. not one of them has said anything about that. in fact, if anything, men do say stuff but i think they do get that deep down they can't force us to anything. so if they're dropping their standards because i won't change then who am i to say anything? "

Of course women hold the power on here, they've got something all (or at least the majority of) the men want, but I wouldn't exactly call fabswingers a hotbed of female emancipation.

For the record, I have no preference for shaved or bushy, that's for the owner to decide. Call me weird, but I generally keep my eyes on the mantelpiece when I'm stoking the fire.

My mum is currently fighting a battle with vulval cancer and was rushed back into hospital last night. After 2 lots of major surgery her fairy (as she calls it) is unrecognisable.

Whether you shave it or not it's your choice ladies. All I would suggest is that you look after it, examine it like you do your breasts, and go to the docs as soon as you notice any lumps, bumps, itchiness or changes in skin texture.
