Ironing pile. Seriously. I think there are mole people living in it.

There's always something better to do though.

Friday night is housework night.

If you had told me that 10 years ago I would have said, kill me now, but honestly, these days I look forward to it.

Laundry, hovering, a long, hot bath...... and walking up Saturday, in clean sheets to a beautifully clean house that smells like an alpine summer meadow.....

Oh, wait, I just read that back.... shoot me now!

My ironing pile makes me want to weep. The last ironing pile I felt that way about I found clothes I'd forgotten I had

I stopped ironing years ago too. In fact I don't even own an iron or ironing board much to my mothers disdain. She's coming up from Somerset thurs so you can garrentte I'll be in her best posh attire for the funeral. Bet I'm even made to have a hair cut too! xxx

Yep! Old milk crate by the sink, four year old happy as larry doing washing up, nine year old drying, me putting away.

Worth the odd breakage for the fun we have

I quite like a bit of ironing.

I'll even do it naked
