IMO, no its shagging, so is male/male, fem/fem..swinging is couples, multiples etc.etc.

Lots of people on here don't swing, wouldn't be seen dead in a club etc.

I've seen this said before but nowhere does it seem to be supported.

OED just says "Sexually liberated or promiscuous" which includes above option so, yes.

I would say technically no, but emotionally it is possibly. For example meeting in a club because you like being watched or whatever.

I guess it's more about attitude. If you think you are, then you are.

Actually the first definition I found online stated it was an act by people in committed relationships. The stats they gathered to measure how many people 'swing' were done on that basis.

If most people were asked if a man meeting a woman for casual sex was 'swinging' they'd say

It's only on this site that people make it a big deal because there are so many single people using a "swinging" site which is only a swinging site because of its original history.
