I hate it when a member leaves and you loose your verify.

As far as I'm concerened what was said on the meet should still stay there with member no longer active on your profile x

you can copy and paste them and asave them elsewhere if they matter that much - still shows as you verified just lose what was said

I think you should be allowed to keep what was said as i have had a few meets that are no longer active from members leaving in a short space of time that makes it look like you've not seen someone when you have. x

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Seeing a list of verifications from UNLOS might make it look like one has driven them from the site.

I kind of agree and it's been a suggestion many have made before. But I'm sure there are valid reasons why it isn't the case.

I had quite a few excellent veris that have now disappeared after UNLOSes. Nothing that you can do about it unfortunately other than sucking it up and getting on with it

It ruins some of the good things said about you that could possibly get you more meets in the future x

evesham

You still have your green tick even if all of your veri's get deleted.

Depends how much stock you put in someone else's experience of someone else.

You think of that's bad, we had one from a couple who has since changed to a single man, but somehow managed to keep all the veries.

Somehow "Mr ddc really knows how to use his cock" sounds different coming from a single man...

Mr ddc

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

It does seem odd that forum posts and messages are retained when UNLOS, but veris are treated differently.

However, it's been asked enough times that we have to accept that it ain't changing.

The forum posts don't link you (as the UNLOS) to a particular individual. A verification does.

If you no longer wish to be associated with that person you can block them as the verification is lost to them unless you unblock them. If you leave, perhaps because you don't wish to be associated with that person or this site, your words remain and some verifications give details that might be identifiable.

Plus, what's to stop the cheaters (not those ones) who set up fake profiles from leaving their fake verifications to themselves there forever more? At least with the names there you can cross check, should you wish to.

UNLOS is hardly "particular" - it's generic by its nature.

I take the rest of your point, though.

The 'particular' is about the way that some (not all, by any means) remember who sent the verification and read a lot into it. The linking happens with those who knew who it was from.
