Is nice good word?

I can't think of any man that enjoys being called cute.

Would you be offended if after a meet they said 'that was nice'.

Nice is a good word to describe something you enjoy. Isn't it?

What words make you think, eh? That actually sound pretty crap?

Because I saw a lady's pics today and hey looked okay.

For some reason on here being "nice" is frowned upon.

Personally i would rather someone was nice. It's easy to be an arsehole, but it's not big and it's not clever.

It may not be the sexiest, filthiest way to describe someone, but as most wear a mask on here anyway and pretend to be someone they are not, i'd rather a meet with a genuinely nice person.

Didn't nice used to mean "correct" or "accurate"... anyway I think sometimes nice is an undervalued word..

Sometimes a meeting on here is "nice" in that it leaves you feeling good and fuzzy I like the word nice... sorry

I do think at times being nice you get walked over in life...I learnt that recently and was still nice to him when I saw him Sunday. No matter how hard I try I can't be an arsehole

It really depends what the guys say after saying ".you're a nice girl"

If it's followed by 'but' then you're buggered, not literally !

If it's followed by 'and I'd like to' then you've pulled

Hope this helps

"The word nice, derived from Latin nescius meaning ‘ignorant’, began life in the fourteenth century as a term for ‘foolish’ or ‘silly’. From there it embraced many a negative quality, including wantonness, extravagance, and ostentation, as well as cowardice and sloth. In the Middle Ages it took on the more neutral attributes of shyness and reserve. It was society’s admiration of such qualities in the eighteenth century that brought on the more positively charged meanings of ‘nice’ that had been vying for a place for much of the word’s history, and the values of respectability and virtue began to take over. Such positive associations remain today, when the main meaning of ‘nice’ is ‘pleasant’ (if with a hint of damning with faint praise; it may yet turn full circle)."

It's an easy word to use especially for kids as they understand the meaning.

You could use more specific words re their behaviour i.e. be kind, patient, understanding for example.

"My English teacher abhorred the word "nice" said it was one of the worst words in the English language."

Did we have the same teacher?

Mine said exactly the same..

I find being called a nice guy semi derogatory... it is just a softer putdown and i'd rather be called something else..

I am generally a decent guy but with a liking for being sexually naughty...
