What cover of a song, do you like more than the original?

For me I think I like Disturbed's cover of Sound of Silence more Simon and Garfunkel's original.

There and to the left a bit

Not sure there are any I can think of that better the original but there are a few that I'd put up there with the original such as:

Futureheads - Hounds Of Love

Madness - It Must Be Love

The Commitments - Try A Little Tenderness

The Bluebeaters - Roll With It (brilliant ska version of Oasis)

Sheffield

With the exception of some pishy boy band in the late 90's/2000's

Any cover of A-ha's take on me.

Reel Big Fish with their Ska-rock/pop version and Shiny and the Spoon with their Ukulele cover.

Leo Morrachioli (sp?) Does some amazing metal covers of songs

And how nobody has mentioned Post Modern Jukebox is beyond me

"I'd always go Cash over NIN, and he also does a brilliant job of I see a darkness by Bonnie Prince Billy.

Also Arctic Monkeys covers of Love Machine, and Diamonds are forever are pretty magic too"

Fun fact: NIN lead singer after hearing cash cover his song when questioned what did ue think about it said " that isnt my song anymore"
