"A lot of it is down to teh resale value of teh car, a car in a standard manufacturer colour is always going to fetch a better [price than one painted in a none standard colour" The guy with the right answer! Vibrant colours can be fun but your resale value is low. Pick a black, silver or other metallic and it retains a higher value than that of a bright, pink or pale beige car. Why pay £1000 more for a personal paint job and then sell it later for £1000 less than a standard popular colour. | |||

"i wonder why car colours are so drab? Surely people have favourite colours like pink, purple, orange, yellow, vivid green and bright blue so why do we not have our cars sprayed these cheerful colours? I understand there will be some exceptions like i see mazda and ford (only two that i know of - im sure there are others) who have a gorgeous green and blue in their ranges. Id love to see a nice fuschia pink or lilac car driving around :D " My pal had her mini sprayed bright pink to match her clothes, she took a dress to the guys who were spraying her car to make sure they had the exact colour match. | |||
