1 with Asda but only 22 hours and I have to work one weekend day

The other with weatherspoons, no weekends, every Friday off, more more hours (and more discount!)

I've decided on spoons and it helps that ads worked their and knows everyone and everything!!

Feeling getting a bit twatted on a Tuesday tonight!!

I've decided on an occupation change. Had my first interview today and it went pretty good! Formal second interview Friday and as long as I don't cock that up, I'll get the job time to get a suit out

Asda would be fine but it's checkout work and I'll know I'll get bored senseless!! I actually feel pretty good right now, I've been a bit sad the last couple of days, it also helps when the first person approaches you and says 'we all know ads' lol xx

Nice one, well done, I worked as a shift Manager for wetherspoons about 15 years ago and they were a decent company to work for. Was still one of the most enjoyable jobs I've had, but the hours didn't suit my life at the time.

How do you know what the op will earn ?

Congratulations. It took me 3 month last year to find a job after being made redundant its stressful. !

I couldn't work with my other half though but then he digs big holes and operates machinery. I might chip a nail.

Many congrats Op!

Started work myself yesterday for a chain store. Tiring but I enjoy it!

For those who say it's not hard to get a job though - my boss told the inductees that they had over 700 applicants and took on 30 (seasonal work) - that's less than 1 in 20!

Anyone who finds themselves employment of any kind these days is doing well - it's tough out there! Xx

It's been extremely tough to find a job down here, I've applied for fast food chains, cleaning jobs, office work, dinner lady.. I've applied for them all, the jobs are there but you have to be one of the lucky ones to get your foot in the door.

I wanted to apply in a shop the other week, took my cv in (very hard thing for me to do pluck up the courage to do that one) was told it's all done online now and not to bother leaving my cv, which I find very annoying as the person choosing which applicant doesn't know who the person is etc, at least being able to apply in store the manager can see you prior!!

G x
