There are some lovely couples that we would like to get to know a little better, and also some singles that given the chance would love to meet up.

Do you have anyone in particular you have been wanting to meet from here but not had the chance to yet?

its tricky for me to meet anyone as I live in the sticks and I don't drive, plus my circumstances at home don't lend themselves to spur of the moment meets and most have to be planned with military precision...

so I tend not to think in terms of wanting to meet anyone as I don't think I'm worth the journey half the time

Very true, but I'd feel a bit on edge knowing every comment I'd made was being put under the microscope. I do have the occasional 'oops shouldn't have said that' moment on here.

Yes some people comments are a filter, but it's like a backwards way of making friends. You get to know people and if you like them, you accept their differences and rough edges.

My wife has a good friend she got to know through swinging. But they have an unspoken agreement not to discuss religion lol.

When you know people's opinions you know not to discuss them, some opinions can be accepted and agree to disagree springs to mind.

I've known plenty that were for brexit, I tried to convince them of my argument but it didn't work, but we still get along... Only so I can say told you so when it comes to it
