Was just thinking what is the most popular one to chat on? Or do you just stick to the good old fab for chatting?just seems sometimes when one of them are suggested in conversation it can kill it...

I usually chat here for a long time before giving out my number for Whatsapp or text. Occasionally I give my Kik, but that usually doesn't end well. Apart from people I give it to just to chat to, they all want to send pics or talk sex all the time on it.

I don't use my phone for that, with strangers.

If someone asks for Kik straight away it usually means they want sex talk and will send pics without asking. I don't want photos on my phone, because other people use it, and it's boring.

This. Any request for whatsapp or especially kik too soon usually means picture collectors and/or fakers. If you are chatting away so merrily that the site system hinders the flow of that, then that's the right time to take it to something else.

Kik so we don't have to give out our numbers but only once we've established a bit of a connection on here. It's easier to follow a conversation, easier for the pair of us to chat and the other person know who's talking, and more discreet than being on here all the time.

Whatsapp, I have no time for any other apps. I tried snapchat and what a ball ache that was! Like I say to people that message me saying it's easier, no it's just as easy to open fab and read the message. So messaging on fab is fine with me, unless I like them and decide they can have my number, because if I don't want them having my number then I don't want to talk to them long term.

But Facebook has become far too intrusive, I came off it and my social life got better because I wasn't in constant contact with people I've found that actually see them more and we appreciate the time we spend together now as opposed to it just been an extension of our online socialising. We both have kik for people who prefer it, but generally we tend to chat on here to set up meets.

Very very few people get my phone number for whatsapp, and usually it's only people I talk to socially. We never give out Marc's number.

I'm much more in favour of just sticking to Fab. It's simple. No bother about looking here, there and everywhere and for what? They can load photos on Fab, even if they're private. They can make voice calls on Whatsapp: but I'm happy to make chargeable phone calls on my mobile, if I trust them with my number. OK, kik means that I don't have to give them my number: but I can still just get texts and photos, which I can more easily obtain via Fab.

I think some guys think that they have a greater claim on you, if you abscond off Fab, onto some app or other. If they're that insecure, I'm probably still better off by staying on Fab with them.
