That was the message I received from a couple asking for a face pic before a meet. No problems so I sent mine. I asked for theirs in return. They messaged back they didn't give out face pics!! I messaged back to say they'd asked for mine in return for theirs, so please send me one. What happened? I was blocked!

Oh well, win some lose some - Just move on is the thing to do I reckon.

I don't do 'blind dates' anyway

One of the first rules of Fab (including things like Face Pic Friday) is that if you want to send a face pic then do so on the understanding that you might not get one back.

My rule of thumb is that if I contact someone first, then it's expected that I send a face pic first.

If someone contacts me first then really they should do the honourable thing and go first. A couple of times I've chosen to go first on such scenarios then they have responded in kind. But if you're unsure it seems unfair that they EXPECT you and asked you to go first!

When I send my face picture first and don't receive a positive response ...

I console myself with the thought "I was out of their league ".

I send mine and so that site supporter remove pic thing if I'm not already friends or unsure. That way it's gone when they close message

I think you have to go back and remove it. I don't think it's automatic.
