I've always left it to the last minute every year. Online shopping is great with next day delivery , I could not handle going to shopping centres near Christmas woukd look like a war zone.

I've started and got a few bits already. I'm going, again on Friday to get a few more bits.

I don't even like Christmas. It's better than leaving it to the last minute and then getting stressed. Please, it's easier on the pockets, spreading out the cost.

Does anyone else buy themselves a "present" while out shopping or doing online shopping for Christmas.

No family hardly so I only have my niece and sister to buy for, and obviously my two. I have a savings account I pay my family allowance into all year and withdraw mid November. So I'm boxing the lot off in one day kids clothes presents wrap paper the lot that's the plan anyway

This is how I do it and it's worked for years.

Work out how many presents you need

Go out and buy that many presents

On the way home from the shops pop in for a coffee with the most mothering person you know

Ask if they mind you wrapping your gifts

Whist wrapping gifts make it look so painful that they take over and watch

As the gifts are being wrapped decide who to give it to

Sorted

Tof be honest my daughter doesn't come into this method this is foreally everyone else. I enjoy shopping for her she is 4 so her toys mentally stimulate me as much as her lol

South East Midlands NOT

I spend £60 at xmas (unless I'm attached) as my family consists of my parents and sister and we do a £20 cap on gifts. We each have a wishlist on Amazon or similar and choose from there. It works for us.
