I try and do some Qi Gong when I'm really stressed or struggling to sleep. I can't control my breathing or empty my mind so find this the best method for me.

When I add in some auricular acupuncture on myself I feel amazing!

A friend put me onto it a few years ago.

Took me a long time to find how to relax, but perseverance paid off. I wish I had time to do it every day, but I try to 3 times a week. It really does help with clarity.

I also do a thing called the morning pages, whereby you write down everything that goes through your mind when you wake up for half an hour or so. It's helped focus my mind in the mornings as to what's important and what isn't.

There's so much healing that spending a bit of time on your mind can facilitate.

Good luck with it

Just where I need to be.

It look me a long time to be able to just sit and clear my mind. I focused on a candle flame at the begining. Now I can sit still and clear all thoughts for 20 minutes. It is hard and some days I struggle but I know that another day I can do better.

I would if I could... but it's tricky to explain in public

South West London / Surrey

I use the guided meditation on occasion. I run a bubble bath, lock the door and slip my earphones in.

No. I don't meditate. But I can clear my mind pretty fast. On the flip side, it does get messed up and filled with lots of thoughts. It's a fine balance that can too quickly.

I need to be alone to wind down as much as I need to keep busy.

Meditation would probably benefit me, i find i get the same thing when walking.

I did a course on deep breathing years ago... I regularly can slip in to the routine be it for half hour or just 5 minutes... Just stopping and doing nothing but listening to your own breathing and the feeling once coming out of the routine is wonderful.
