Single ??? are we swingers or not

Would like to know general opinion. Are us single females and males classed as swingers, because as soon as singles become couples they say single people are not swinging and swinging is only for couples, but what about threesomes and such and gangbangs and all that. Are we singles SWINGERS or not xxxx

I would say that any single that is on here primarily to find sex with other couples/singles/groups is a swinger.

Those that are on here with the sole purpose to find a relationship and there are a few, are not swingers.

Its an interesting question as the way I see it swingers have developed from couples into a wider thing. So many couples break up these days so its not just a couples thing more a lifestyle. Well that is the way I see it anyway.

without a doubt swinging evolved from a couples activity and for me the interest is in the ability to have opportunities to meet and play in group situations . I have done this as part of a couple and ideally thats my aim again in the future , but for now i'm single .

my outlook is the same tho, just my circumstances are different ...im neither looking for dating or infidelity...so yes, i'd say i was still a swinger, who happens to be single at the moment ( so i'm a swingle )

Until recently that was our thought exactly however we have softened that approach to include GENUINE single guys and girls who only want to play with couples.

Like Wiggle we do believe that singles only looking for singles don't really fit the bill, hence in OUR opinion they are not really swingers.

There will always be exceptions to every rule but for us swinging is about sharing and in order to share at least one couple will have to be involved

I guess everyone's perception of swinger is different....

i'm single but class myself as a swinger...others may disagree. I don't thing its a status thing tho..as in single, married, divorcd, those who can't decide.....I think its a lifestyle choice....

my personal view xx

Used to see everyone at a swing club as a swinger, untill while sat in a Bristol club I heard 2 singles guys Where one complained at the lack of women that night.. the other replyed "hey it's cheeper than a pro, even at single entery prices"

Pretty much agree with that - but I wouldn't limit the sharing to be with only other couples. But there is a need for a pre-existing relationship to exist between at least two of the people involve. By this definition 1-2-1 sex between two singles is not swinging.... yep I am happy enough to agree with that too.

I don't feel the need to dress up a shag as anything other than what it is... recreational sex.

Am I a swinger - more than probably yes, though I am not precious about it if people think I am or not... it's a handy label I can use to save time explaining. I say I probably am (even though I am single) because... does a trucker stop being a trucker just because they are driving their car? Or are they a trucker who just happens to be driving a car today?

I may not be in a relationship but that doesn't mean I can't be a swinger.

Do I think all recreational sex is swinging just because I am a swinger - do I bollox.

When I meet couples I am involved in swinging.

When I meet 2 couples I am involved in swinging.

When I meet several couples I am involved in a bloody good time

When I meet a guy... I'm having a shag (well usually a few more than one).

If any single feels the need to differentiate the recreational sex (shag) they have with another single from anyone else’s recreational 1-2-1 by making some sort of hierarchy of swinging/non-swinging shagging… then they really should take the plum out of their arse or lose a few inner guilt/shame hang-ups.

It seems to me that if your looking for long term then it's better to be on dating site...therefor your single!?!

If your on FAB then your probably looking for fun, excitement, NSA etc etc therefor swinging fits better...although, i love swingle title!!

I can say I am not leading the NASA space programme anymore - it don't mean I was before lol

Singles can of course be swingers - doesn't mean everytime they have sex it is swinging .

I'd be sceptical about just how much of a swinger someone was who wanted to stop swinging at the very point when they now actually could swing. Taking a break from the scene for some 'getting to know eachother time' - yeah I get that. Quitting now I bagged me a partner....???????????? wtf? I honestly don't think it matters. It's just a label. Call me a swinger, or a swingle or just someone who loves sex who's found a safe and happy hunting ground.... call me whatever you like! Labels aren't important, it's attitude and character that counts.
