Not long started a new job.

The fact that everything is new is brilliant, we are writing all the processes and procedures ourselves. Main downside is the lack of support or guidance from management.

So yes and no.

After all the years of incessant cuts, having my pension plundered, pay cut year on year. Seeing first hand how much essential public services in the community have been cut. And how uncaring society has become, maybe most are blissfully unaware of the effect austerity is having. Basically the only thing I enjoy about my job is my time off! Hopefully things will improve in the future as my job is still a good job in a lot of other countries.

Like any job it has its good and bad points but I do enjoy it for the most part,as nothing else I've done over the years gives me the freedom and adrenaline rushes of my current job.

when on site I'm in charge of the work n how it gets done so as long as the site agent is happy with my work then I'm free to come n go as I please, have 2-3 hour long breaks n get away usually a couple of hours before finishing time!

This is one of the cushiest numbers I've had for a while so I'll be making the most of it while I can!
