"So here's the thing.... In all the universe and all creation the most amazingly complex thing we know of is the human brain......surely it would therefore seem churlish to use that brain to dismiss all possibility the brain is the result of design... Or meringue " Apparently we ( humans ) have just forgotten how to use the rest of our brains ?

"So here's the thing.... In all the universe and all creation the most amazingly complex thing we know of is the human brain......surely it would therefore seem churlish to use that brain to dismiss all possibility the brain is the result of design... Correction, in all the known universe, which is about 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000(oh I could go on ) 1 % The human brain is the most complex, however whales have a much bigger brain with roughly the same neurones, squids eat their own brains and there's tiny creatures with only about 300 neurones that manage to do quite well with them......I find the trouble with complexity is its way to complex to read about for any period of time which is a bit annoying coz I quite like it

" I once watched a programme by that D-ream fella that was meant to, once and for all, explain the main problem with the Big Bang Theory (ie "Ok, but who made the Big Bang?). His answer was a previous universe collapsing in on itself. Which I felt somewhat missed the point of the original question (But at least made me think, when talking about Pop Stars-turned Physicists-turned Theologians "Things can only get better" OP: Without digging out my copy of Robert Graves's Greek Myths, I seem to recall that God, as the creator of all life, did start off as a woman. It was men who changed it... Mr ddc

" Fuck.. I wish I'd thought of that?.... Still I anyways needed something to hold the shed door open" Of course, in a *properly* designed universe, the shed door would know when to stay open and when not to. Ours always closes bloody-mindedly at the most inopportune moments. (which of course gives credence to the "female god" camp...)

So does mine, it sits there happily until either you want to walk through it or you've just turned the light off before slamming shut with incredulity
