"Chicken soup is serious stuff. I like to put some mellow music on while I make mine. I made some yesterday with skinned and trimmed chicken thighs, carrot, onion, celery, red lentils, potatoes and some mange tout thrown in at the end. I don't usually use potatoes but my son wanted some, for a change. I don't use salt, just pepper. " ...I put potatoes in as when you mash them with the veg it makes it a bit thicker | |||

I add shredded chicken breast, garlic puree, onions,mushrooms & peas/ corn and serve over boiled rice....chicken soup is the Bollox...so many uses. However, yesterday they were cooking for so long most of them disintegrated and my soup went white. It was a bit grainy but tasted lovely. | |||
