User to UNLOS in 19 hours? Started chatting to a newbie who looked at me. She stated that she was inundated with messages and was having some nasty ones from guys who she wasn't replying to fast enough, then poof, gone...

Is this likey an admin thing or is it possible she was badgered off the site inside 24hrs?

will be she got scared off the site. first time i came online i deleted pretty quickly, 17 pages of men wanting a fuck was pretty scary to me.

she'll be back if she really wants what this site can offer her.

I did the same the first time I joined, was bombarded and it freaked me out so I left within a day or so.

A new female profile does get bombarded and some guys are rude.

I was put on this site by a then friend and she dealt with it all for me.

I sat there in shock wondering how I was ever going to live down being on a swingers site.

I'm fine now

She will have had 100's of messages from the predictor males that trawl who's new on here. They hope to get in first but I doubt they are successful and just scares women off. The site could do a lot more to make it more new user friendly like automatically putting on filters so they need to be manually set, restricting how many messages they get in the first few hours whilst newbies get used to the site, however I doubt anything will change.

I shut down my account awhile ago and reopened a new one but the hounds at the gate trying to snap up a newbie are pretty ferocious! I had great fun though picking them off but for a newbie it is terrifying.

True, figuring out the filters etc...is daunting enough without trying to fend off the cockamania

Surely member retention should be part of it all... I agree with the filters as I followed the prompts and stopped single males straight away... whenever I raise the portcullis I get about a 400% increase in traffic to our profile

Not sure about immediate filters because some people will be looking for different things...

Perhaps a warning? Like you often see In forums like "Don't Feed The Trolls" we should have one for the pests (not singling out single males because I've had some pestering couples too)

I think that filters should default to being on automatically for new members

This is my 3rd account now and each time I've had 100's of messages on the first day. Always the same sad socially inept fuckers (yep I'm one of those irritating people who only needs a message once, no mater how crap I remember). As a total newbie it must be terrifying. I initially joined as a couple and I don't remember being bombarded then. Maybe the presence of a male partner put them off.

not far from iceland,,,,,, tescos is nearer though :-) (near leeds)

Only the person who deleted the profile could say why they left , it could be a myriad of reasons .. not just volume of messages.

I see quite a lot of new female profiles as often as not they already have filters applied ... I guess they've either been here before and found them previously or as they are setting up their profile they discover them ..

Some and I repeat some love the attention as well ..

Northampton Somewhere

It's not just women who leave soon after joining. I was chatting to a local guy last night, all going well. Checked my messages this morning and gone!! I don't think it was anything I said!
