I don't regret my tattoo, but 20 years later and it's still unfinished because I can't decide how and where I want it to go

i've covered up my regrets. think i'd have had less tattoos and gone for more of a pattern on my body with them,

don't really regret them, i just find it boring when people go on about them to me.

Yes the cover up I got. My first tatt was a boys name but I got it covered before my first marriage to someone else. As both marrages went tits up and I'm still very good friends with the chap whose name it is I regret having it covered. Xxx

I know for a fact if I got one, I'd end up covered in them.

I'm EXTREMELY impulsive, I wouldn't stop at just one.

I was very silly when I was married and got my exes name in Chinese (I think) on my ankle, so it's not too bad but I'd love that gone and I got a quote he put in a birthday card years ago on my right forearm on the inside, which I don't look at and go 'urg' but as soon as I can get it covered I will

I had a bulldog tattoo on my forearm when I was 13! My mum smacked me round the head with a saucepan for getting it, it's since been lasered off with a view to extending a tattoo sleeve over it

"Yes i regret all of mine

That's a shame because I do like yours.

I was going to get something done some time ago but things happened so didn't go thru with it. Happy now that I did as I would prob find it addictive and end up with too many! Besides now days everyone seems to be tattoo all over so it's Almost More unique not to have any!

kind of...i got a cover up of my first tattoo, not because i didn't like it but because i wanted more work and it didn't fit the theme i was going with so covered it. i miss that tatt and wish i'd planned ahead more when i got it. i just didn't know i'd end up geting so many more at the time! bad planning more than a bad tatt really

I had an ex's name in my hip as a teenager, had it covered before I got married.

Recently (July), I went to a festival, had one in my wrist, who knew getting a tattoo in a caravan at a festival whilst a tiny bit tipsy would end badly??

Have since been able to get it covered/corrected, now have a large tattoo on the inside of my wrist, instead of something very dainty....

Tattoos (or the resources to get them) and impulsiveness do not go. Well actually they go a little too well, but you know what I mean...

I had my exs name tattooed on my wedding ring finger had it lasered off now though but that's my only regret. A pin up girl on my thigh needs a cover up as I'm not happy with her

I had a tattoo done on my back when I split up with my ex, mostly because he didn't like tattoos. I don't regret the tattoo particularly, but I regret not being well educated about what a decent tattooist was because the quality is pretty poor.

I'd get a coverup, but it would need to be very dense and very large.

I don't regret any of mine, I had one recoloured but they made a really bad job of it and I had it covered with a larger piece and had another covered as I wanted the space lol I've had 10 all together but only 6 tattoos in total and want more. My first one was 30 years ago, not the norm back then

I went to an ex serviceman who was also a tattooist (or so he said ! ) to get a specialist military one done in memory of my late father, he completely fucked it up and I ended up begging my regular tattooist to rectify it asap, it was done properly 2 days later

Really like all of mine.

I did wait until my mid 30s before having the first though.

Definitely want more, but deciding on placement and specific design still.

I have one tattoo done many years ago that now looks like a black mess!

I don't think many people consider how they will feel about having it on their body in 20 years time!

You just have to ask yourself did you like how you dressed / how you wore your hair 20 years ago?

And those are things you can change!

I think having whole arms legs etc.. covered in tattoos is a big decision that you might regret later on....

I think being unique these days is not having tattoos!
