We've only scored 4.

Man Utd fans starting to realise that Mourhino is no longer the manager he was?

As a Man Utd fan , I'm beginning to realise it's not the manager who's at fault at the club . The players are responsible and to be fair they have been diabolical since Ferguson left .

I'm not a United fan, I can't see all of the blame at the special ones door. The squad has been horrifically poor for some time now. The over reliance on Rooney and his twilight years are now exposing how much they relied on him. Zlatan is good but too inconsistent. A back line that's ridiculously flat footed. To top it off, a £100m spent on a player who may have excelled in Serie A, a league that's completely pedestrian when compared to the premier league.

I dont really understand what has gone so wrong at Man U.

With regards Mourhino, he has certainly motivated Chelsea today

Simple really other teams have caught up in terms of money to spend and they no longer have a manager who can motivate good players to excel like Ferguson could.

I though it showed how far Man Utd have fallen when their fans were celebrating a nil nil draw against Liverpool on Monday night as a victory

Mourhino and Moyes are very similar. Both play not to lose. I was gutted when Mourhino returned to the Bridge, and so glad he has left.

The tactics under Alex Ferguson would flow no matter what squad he had.

Wingers used the whole width of the park and full backs would run up and down the line for 90 mins.

When the wingers cut inside the strikers would then take up space wide or drop deep dragging defenders all over the place.

This never happened a few times a match but went on for 90 mins. Every player knew what role to play and what position to take up when they had the ball or not.

When I have watched them over the last few seasons there build up play has been slow and predictable.

At times you can see huge holes in there formation and as soon as they lose the ball they are up against it.

Moyes , Van Gaal and Mourinho are all good managers but they seem to lack that tactical spark that Ferguson had.

For me the best man for the Utd job was Pepe Guardiola.

Not what most will want to hear but when you see Man City in full flow now it just reminds me of the old style Utd teams and the way they played.

Staunch Liverpool fan here - I was thinking what the problem with United might be at the moment. Could it be possible that Ferguson might actually be the cause?

Is he likely to have any say still on how the team is run? - each of the three managers (two of which can be considered really sucessful previous to United) haven't successfully implemented their styles because of boardroom interference?

That Chelsea played one of their best if not the best this season sort of says a a lot about how bad their relationship was with him last season before he was sacked..

post match interview a combo of was he watching the same game and delusion..

quite liking his tenure at Man U..

Cantona, Schmeichel,Van Nistelroy, Solskjaer etc etc..

without whom your lot would not have the resurgence under Fergie..

maybe the issue is the special one..

Yeah, remember the hood ol times when Utd had Christian Ronald from Preston and Eric Canton from Derby, real honest men men who could do it on a cold night in Stoke.

I mean gone are the days of Fergie's boys

Butt, Scholes, Beckham, Giggs, Neville

Sure we had foreigners but solid backbone has gone...for now

As a season ticket holder who hardly misses a home game and goes away (didn't get a ticket for yesterday) my thoughts are that

Daily blind is too slow as a left back, and got caught out tracking Pedroa run

The midfield were lazy and have been for a while pogba and fellani are not doing a shift defensively or attacking leaving it to anders to take the slack up

The front 4 are in each other's way, no movement no darting runs or creativity
