I had really excruciating sinusitis and used a sterilised syringe and boiled water with salt dissolved in it.

It was pure bliss! Feels a bit horrible to do.

It's really important everything is sterile though.

Yes so i have read, also not to use just water as this an irritate ?

you haven't mastered the art. close one nostril and blow it down so you can reach it.

I've used one previously when I suffered awful sinus problems and it was an enormous help.

Always used 1 teaspoon of salt to every 16 ounces of warm water (boiled and let to cool in something sterile).

Just make sure your head is tilted properly so it doesn't go down your throat
