"I like a smart looking watch but the likes of Rolex I wouldn't thank you for a Rolex, yes I know they are expensive and good quality but they look grotesque. I usually buy fakes from Turkey. I'm sporting a lovely RADO at the moment, gun metal black. £10 in Marmaris 2 years ago hahaha " When you say Rolex are grotesque, have you seen the explorer? Very plain, steel bravely and black face, understated but a lovely watch.

"I have my ideal "one day" watch that I lust over, but currently don't wear one. My Dad, on the other hand, has a serious watch addiction! " I have about six I think, from a plastic £10 Bart Simpson one I wear when on my bike to the dress watch, nothing expensive though.

" Oh, forgot my G10, that's in a box somewhere. A Senior Service variant though. That will be mine for all of time (no pun)

"Are you into your watches and what's the most you've paid for one Is it appreciating in value, holding it's own or worth half what you paid for it ? One of my mates is a watch snob and the other gets his replicas on holiday from the the looky looky man in Tenerife and they are always arguing (in a banter kind of way)" loveeee my watches I have many , the danger of getting shoot down , £15k for my Daytona white / rose gold Rolex a total investment

"All depends on what you are into and if you save your money. I have not really had many holidays the last 5 years don't smoke so saved up and the result is ..... Rolex Daytona. Yes they are expensive but hold the value v well also so it's a investment too." Man of style and class

"It was only recently I asked a guy who was putting a new battery into my watch if it was the watch or battery slowing I thought the battery just went (Straight away) he told me the chinese batterys were always the worst and carried on but much slower so I don,t know if its watch or battery the watch is about 20 years old now but has only been in use for about a year its not a quality watch but one I had before Identical lasted about 15 plus years I can,t remember haveing a bad battery in that one trust the chinese to slow things down... (which is probabily the opposite in real life) with lower grade batterys but cost the same price as a higher grade one.. the Indian guy who put my battery in knew his batterys and knew if they were chinese or not I presume its a matter of going back to him getting a higher grade battery and seeing if the watch has had its time pardon the pun or just get a new watch and save on a new battery.. oh the dilemma.. " Just prise the back of your watch off, check battery number, go to pound shop and buy a card of button cells (making sure yours is on the card) swap out old for new, pop watch back on. Saved you £4.

"Not many people talking about breitling !!, always fancied one and have been looking at a couple recently what's people's thoughts on them ? " I had a quick look at this brand, I had never noticed them before. They are certainly good quality, however, they don't seem to be very original in the design. They seem, well, classic. I prefer a subtle originality.

I love it as much now as when I first saw it advertised on a giant billboard. https://goo.gl/images/HfcWsg

Pull another off your pound shop card and put that one in. Everything is made in china these days so don't pay a fiver for something you can do yourself,
