I've had mine messages since I woke up this morning.

If I send a no thanks reply they often reply back and I would spend even more time on Fab than I already do (if that's even possible).

Read the site FAQ. Alledgedly it states that no reply means a no thankyou.

I don't even read them all TBH. If they start off "wanna fuk u" or "I apologise this is not to everyone's taste, but would you..." or "want 2 breed u" or "want to see me wank off" or "meet now" or "nice tits/you're gorgeous/sexy/insert random compliment with no other message text whatsoever"

then I tend not to even open the message..

I didn't even know you could do this, but I wouldn't do it either way. If someone sends me rubbish I'll not reply, and I won't feel bad. For normal messages I'll usually reply, but let's face it, it's not hard for guys as we get so few messages. Unless it's just me??

I often read and mark as unread. Not sure what I'm meant to be guilty of though.

There are two of us, and would rather remark it unread than get moaning messages asking why is been read but not replied to.

Or maybe it's a decent message that deserves a proper reply and I don't have time the and then, and having it unread is a reminder.

Or maybe I don't want to reply, as a previous poster said no reply should be taken as a no, and there are no rules about how people manage their inboxes.

Yes, I do very often mark my messages from read back to unread to remind myself to respond to them.

If I don't,then I forget... Which reminds me that I've still got shit loads of veris and responses to deal with....

Always read the message but will occasionally mark it back up as unread so that we can reply later when we have time.

If the message or profile is not to our liking then we will either reply with a sorry but no or simply delete.

Re OP I never do this as I can't be fucked with games. Once read if I'm not interested it's deleted, if I'm interested or can't decide I'll leave it as read until later. That later is sometimes just a massive clear out so best to grab my attention and make me want to reply yes immediately

If I'm unsure, I often read a message to see whether it's for me, Mrs ddc, or the both of us, then mark it unread so she knows it still needs to be dealt with.

Isn't an unread message better than an unanswered one?

Prefer my messages to be deleted. I block them so they no longer return in search results and I nmove on. Read and no reply or unread gets deleted. No need to be rude as one man's (or one woman's) meat is another man's poison.
