Go back to the piercer and ask them to do it with the correct sterilised tools

Use a touch of lube on the end of the piercing jewellery. Push it through from under the hood rather than down from the top.

Is it easy like changing an earring or as differcult/painful as changin a nose ring? Xxx

I've never had an ear piercing or a nose piercing. I've never found changing any of my body piercings painful to be honest. The rough ends of an externally threaded barbell can hurt a little, but it's just momentary pain and then it's fine.

Ok cheers. Changin a nose piercin makes your eyes water cos it closes so close around the shaft of the jelewry that the little knobble on the inside end hurts. xxx

South East Midlands NOT

I changed mine from a banana bar to a horseshoe ring myself, it was a bit tricky getting it in due to the location and not being able to see it (fat belly and big tits!) but a little perseverance and it was in and secure. I didn't use lube, but I did wear rubber gloves to tighten the balls sufficiently.

Its really simple. Maybe a latex glove to give a bit of grip on the ball. A small dab of savlon and push the old piercing out with the new one, it follows the hole then. Make sure you screw the new ball on nice and tight. You have left it plenty long enough so good luck. Xxxx

Before you go embarking on changing it, make sure you can see what you are doing. If you can't get a mirror to help you. Like others have said, go from bottom to top. If you have someone to help you it is easier

I'm always changing mine 'cos I someimes swap the balls about to match my other piercings! I've never found changing the VCH at all painful (unlike nipple bars where the thread can sometimes scrape) and agree when placing a bar it's much easier to insert it from beneath. I have to admit to not using lube though, I just lick the bar figuring that saliva is a natural antiseptic (I'm sure I once read that somewhere )

To be fair - sometimes I just use a bit of shower gel as lube... anything really to make it slippery. But then mine is stretched up to 6mm, so it sometimes needs a bit of help.
