Off the grid

Ok, so I've eaten a ton of crap lately and I look and feel fat. But my skinny jeans still fit. How does that work?

Water retention. You're squishing the fluid into crevices in your body

Breathing in a LOT. And I've eaten chocolate and crisps on stop since those photos a couple of days ago.

*hangs head in shame*

Panicking because I have an incredibly unforgiving costume to wear for Halloween.

I am facing one week of lettuce and I don't wanna! *cries*

I've lost weight, but my cheeks feel chumpy, which makes me feel fatter. I'm still actually fat, but I should be feeling thinner.

Yeah we can never plan where we lose weight from. My husband is the opposite, he loses weight from his face first so can look really thin when he's not. I'm more like you describe, lose weight on my face last!

It's my stomach I'm concerned about though. How is my stomach mega fat but my very tight jeans still fit?

Maybe I'm just one chocolate bar away and then they won't.

Fuck off.

I have just demolished a giant carrot that must've been 8" and quite girthy. Shame I had to eat it.

It is mostly mentally, as that is how such food makes some feel.

You need to eat quite a bit before you put on significant weight, remember fat is very energy dense which is why we use it to store energy. A few days of gorging on the sweet stuff is probably only going to leave you a bit bloated

If you are feeling fat, it will because you are a bit bloated, stop eating all the crap for a few days and your body will return to normal. I get like that if I eat a lot of bread, but I also have IBS and the wheat in bread is famous for making you bloat. I have now discovered Polish bread, and it has less wheat flour but more rye flour in it, I like the seeded one, and makes lovely toast. I also find I eat less bread now (it's also got less fat in it)
