Ok everyone... Firstly good morning and welcome to Friday, the weekend in upon you

Secondly what pooches do you all have?

Since I'm already here I will get the ball rolling

We have a Lab Cross girl who is 2 yrs and an Alaskan Shepard boy who is 7 months and we love them to bits

I know this will alienate me from most of Fab but I'm really not fussed about dogs either way.

I can tolerate well behaved ones - but it gets my cankles up when their owners let them run out of control and jumping up all over strangers 'as they're just being friendly'.

And, owners, putting dog shit into a little black bag and just leaving it there and not in a bin is NOT cleaning up after your dog! Grrrrr!

I'd like to have a dog but living alone it wouldn't be fair to it being cooped up in my flat every day while I'm working.

My favourite breed is German Shepherds as we always had one as a pet when I was a bairn.

Honourable mentions go to Jack Russels for the same reason,plus for a wee dog they're totally fucking fearless!

Also English Bull Terriers just because I think they look cool with their mad convex noses!

We have a girl lurcher who is 2, and is the neediest dog we have ever met in our entire life, but is also amazing and makes us chuckle everyday

And we have just ordered a dog de bordeoux which is due on the 9th of December so will be ready for collection in January

We have a lab/springer spaniel cross- looks just like a 3/4 size black lab unless you look closely.

Hes a lovely little dog and full of energy even though hes 9 now. Can be a bit to shy/timid at times though.

We have a Springer Spaniel, who I suspect is gay,he often gets humped by other dogs and doesn't seem to mind.

A Labrador/Retriever who is incredibly stupid, we have to watch him when we walk him as he gets lost.

And a recently acquired, Staffy/Horse cross.

I've no idea what she is crossed with, maybe lurcher,something huge, but she a Staffy and some.

Also have Lola a 2 yr old shih tzu my dog she likes her coat short and is a proper mams girl

That said, I was thinking of getting a dog when I move to the country, a chocolate lab. But my grandkids will come and visit, so regardless of what people say and the temperament of the dog...think the only dogs in my house will be my Hush Puppies!

Love Jack Russells, we used to have one, such a will to live.

We'd love to have a dog again but our work hours aren't compatible with that.

We always jump on the opportunity to dog sit for friends and family.

Lovely natured wee shite,apart from when it came to other dogs!

He wasn't on a lead,about 100 yards up the street a woman was walking her English Bull Terrier.

Spot saw the other dog n immediately shot off after it yapping like crazy!

When I eventually caught up the woman had to pick her dog up n had spot at her feet barking blue murder at them!

If I could translate the yapping,he would've been shouting "lemme at 'im...lemme at 'im!"

As I said,totally fearless....n very

mental!

Years ago I was out walking my mums Jack Russel,Spot.

Lovely natured wee shite,apart from when it came to other dogs!

He wasn't on a lead,about 100 yards up the street a woman was walking her English Bull Terrier.

Spot saw the other dog n immediately shot off after it yapping like crazy!

When I eventually caught up the woman had to pick her dog up n had spot at her feet barking blue murder at them!

If I could translate the yapping,he would've been shouting "lemme at 'im...lemme at 'im!"

As I said,totally fearless....n very

mental!

Ours barks at every dog it sees, hence why we dare not let him off the lead! He's so much fun though, can't be mad at the little bigger too long. Miss T x

A vet once told me that Jack Russell's are the perfect height for biting bigger dogs in the balls.

I have a severely mental 8yr old Staffy cross. He's part Staffy, part goat and part kangaroo and still thinks he's a puppy. He's as daft as a brush but wouldn't have him any other way as he has so much character and is so loving and loyal.

My neighbours cane corso got out of his yard once,vicious thing,and came into our garden with my kids and bichon there. My bichion went for the corso before he could get at my kids,allowing them time to run inside. By time I got outside The cc had my guy by his harness and was shaking him like a toy but he was completely unhurt. Just shaken

I really believed he saved my kids. The cane corso attacked two neighbours after that and was put down

I have a 9 year old chow chow.. we got him as a rescue dog..

Hes a bit of an odd bod as dogs go.. Doesn't chase or fetch.. but is adorable and loves to wander to the school gates and lay down and refuse to move at home time so he gets fussed x

Got a black lab cross with something big and stupid, possibly a blue merl great dane. Sort of a dark grey with black spots.

He's 10, soft and daft and does a weird sort of vertical take off with 4 legs simultaneously

His appetite is 100% Lab.

Had his chip checked a couple of weeks ago and change details and it turns out he was registered as a horse for the last 8 years so apparently my vet is a funny fucker.

We've got a 6 year old girlie spaniel who has her own hair drier and Facebook page! (Nothing to do with me, I've just got sad friends lol). She also used to be a dominatrix in a previous life. She rules the roost!

She got a wasp sting on her tail yesterday. She sat in the cold lake for 20 minutes. I've never seen such misery and dejection on a doglette lol

I have a Collie crossed with a labrador and a GS. She's a rescue from The Salisbury Dog's Trust. She had been battered, kept in a cage outdoors and fed in the dark. I've had her 5 years now. She's my second rescue and I've turned her into a beauty. I don't have kids so she's my Baby

Her name is Saffi, she's jet black, well behaved and I can't imagine her not being around. She just had a her 10th birthday....I let her have cake

got a Westie and a Chihuahua nearly 2 weeks now since we lost our other Westie and were still missing her so much. Thinking of taking on a 8 yr old Patterdale rescue dog ,he's adorable. C'mon you sexy lot I need your help to convince hubby its the right thing to do

The thing is.

You've got to have dogs from a puppy.

I had 2 Alsatians, the first one I rescued, he was a police dog, who had a slight hip problem, completely unnoticeable and he was fine, but they are really strict, the dogs have to be absolutely A1..he wasn't.

He's just died, had him for about 5 years.

The one I have now I had from puppy, and he sits and won't move unless I tell him.

I could put his dinner down, go out of the room for an hour and he won't touch it until I tell him to.

He's the absolute best dog in the world.

I have a black Labrador and a blue greyhound

They are such different dogs

The Lab is just full of life and never sits down, runs about all over the place, thinks everybodies his best mate and acts according, you can't even go to the loo without him acting like he's not seen you for a week when you walk back in the room

The Greyhound is just a laid back timid dog, very lethargic and don't give a shit if you go to the loo or not

he just sleeps all day, they are just huge couch potatoes

Where as the Lab is at his happiest running round a muddy field the Greyhound's at his happiest snuggled up under a quilt

she's been mistreated we reckon so its been about building her trust etc but is settling in and they are inseparable..

I have a 6 year old female westie . Had to play body guard to her today as a black cat decided to stalk her and try and take swipes at her.my wee pampered princess was just engrossed the whole time sniffing about lol .

I'm also trying yo take hubby in to getting me a Norfolk terrier .lovely wee things

We have the most beautiful 18 month old black and white border collie - he's my best mate! Honestly, the smartest dog I have ever met I spend all day every day with him working from home so we talk to him like a person not a dog and he understands everything we say even if he chooses to ignore when it doesn't benefit him. He's had a hard 12 months with his dodgy hips but he's getting there...thinking of getting another Collie...then I remember how much puppies stress me out

We have a four year old American Akita Long Coat called Marley, They tend to call them "Bear Headed" Akita's over there. Hates other dogs with a vengeance so is muzzled if out in the street just in case something loose attacks him as I don't want to see another dog get hurt even if its their stupid owners fault.

He's very protective of the girls especially if there are other dogs around loose near them & I'm the only one that can walk him as at over 9st he's more than capable of dragging H into the road if he sees another dog.

He still has the odd nightmare as he was a rescue so when he does we let him sleep next to my side of the bed..sometimes he sneaks onto the bed at the bottom. Not that 9st is very good at sneaking

We have ours in our bed, mainly because I wanted him too. He used to cry if he didn't sleep in our bed and I hated it. Miss T x

He was called Spider and was an absolute kleptomaniac who brought amongst other things somebody's garden gnome back one day

Yes the 2yr old shih tzu sleeps between our pillows the pup sleeps behind my back and the lab at my feet. They are the reason we got a super King size bed
