My wife's grandfather was there helping pull people out when this happened. Can't believe so many children gone at once

My Uncle went to help too. We've had special remeberance programmes on BBC Wales about the disaster all week. Truly heartbreaking.

I read a piece in yesterday's paper, there were two tragedy's, the innocents who lost their lives, the way the investigation was handled afterwards and the way the families were treated.

Appalling to think that at one point there wasnt enough money in the charity fund to tend the graves of those who lost their lives.

I was in junior school when this happened my teacher and headmaster were Welsh an I remember the headmaster bursting into the classroom to tell our teacher about it.

West Wales and Cardiff

I've met people from my home town who helped - their stories are harrowing.

I drive past the village regularly and it's hard to imagine what happened.

I'd never seen this photo before until it was in a paper this week. It's astonishing - shows the scale of slide (no people are in it - it's a shot from a long way away. It may be upsetting though).

Hard to believe the road I drive is in there somewhere.
