Will Nintendo have announced their new thing. It looks to be a home\travel\tablet hybrid...

Anyhow here's their preview trailer..... https://youtu.be/f5uik5fgIaI

I'm not sure on it. Would need to see statistics of battery life and processing power etc

The principle looks good, as you'll be truly able to game anywhere, (wifi needed ?) And can sync multiple devices.

Robustness would be the main issue, and how much processing power the device would have.

A return to cartridges away from scratchable discs is surely a good thing too

It looks great in the video.

Hopefully developers will make games for it and if EA makes FIFA etc for it then it'll be a huge hit.

Playing FIFA on it on the way to work? On the train? etc.

As everyone has said, depends on battery life and so on.

So far, so good. You have to give it to Nintendo for being innovative.

Yep it looks interesting and they've clearly gone for the fun/party angle but it is the games that will kill it or help it fly.

Can't just rely on Mario Kart either

The name sounds ominous. 20 years ago everyone 'switched' to Sony.

Which was, in no small part, their own fault.

Not two words I'd use in the same sentence...Nintendo and innovate

Regurgitated game characters for the past how many years?

A new Pokemon game every year doing the same story line over and over.

Yeah they make some cool stuff but it's all novelty....and this is coming from someone who loves Nintendo
