A bed warmed by an electric mattress pad is one of the simple joys of a cold night. Mine turned on for first time this season last week.

So glad we purchased one with separate sides and foot warmers built in! Otherwise the wife would be cooking me from the start of September until the end of May!

So, 1/2 on here!

You are clearly a bunch of cold-blooded reptiles. Buy thicker duvets if it bothers you that much

Mine is still packed away and didn't even make an appearance last year. I know as soon as it does, it will be on every night, needed or not. Same as heated seats in my car

Have a memory foam mattress so can't have an electric blanket.

Used to have one you could set a timer on so it was perfectly warm when you went to bed

Same one all year for me, if I get cold I'll use a blanket to.

Off the grid

My husband is ridiculously hot. When I go to bed alone I'm freezing but as soon as he gets in bed, I need the windows open and a fan on and even then it's almost unbearable!

I can't go anywhere near him in the summer. Too hot!

Can you adjust the temperature by twisting the nipples

Ha Ha I think it causes a leak elsewhere if you do that

My Own Little World

I've still got my lightweight quilt on, heating off Always at night, it is on for a couple of hours in the morning easier to get the kids up if it is warm. I woke up in the night chilly so I put my blanket on low for an hour, just to get me back to sleep.

Oh, I'm sure that can be addressed. You can usually block a leak with the right tool
