Anyone love Winter?

I flippin hate it. My hair ends up a mess with the bad weather. All trussed up like a turkey in boots, hat, scarf. Car iced up and you are woken to that scraping noise from your neighbors scraping it off windows. Big heating bills. Dry skin.

I actually perk up on Jan 1st as I start to count down to summer

Winter is my favourite season, love the cold feeling and being able to snuggle up in front of an open fire.

Derbyshire

Love it.

Those cold crisp mornings with hoar frost and dewy cobwebs twinkling in the rising sun.

Waking up to a pure-white carpet of snow.

Brisk walks in the cold, knowing you have crusty bread and freshly made soup to come home to.

Evenings in front of a roaring log fire with a cup of hot chocolate and marshmallows.

Every season has its highlights, and in Britain we are lucky to get a good mix of them all.

Love summer but winter is great, log burner going, chilling in local and any outside fun has to be rough to keep body heat up!

Hate it - give me summer and a beach any time - that said if you get a clear cold crisp day it can be spectacular - but all we seem to get is a muggy Autumn for winter now with rain and mist and nothing to get your teeth into!

I like a cool crisp day with frost on the ground.

Proper stew and dumplings.

Treacle sponge and syrup.

Real fire to relax by or shag in front of.

It's never too hot to sleep.

No wasps or flies.

What's not to like?

I prefer the autumn/winter to the spring/summer as you know what you are getting weatherwise..as obviously you expect crap weather in the winter months, andt so much in the summer months, but that's what you get anyway

Nope. Riding in icy rain, no riding because it's too dark, freezing fingers because I have to take my gloves off to do buckles on tack up, breaking ice on water buckets, mud everywhere, having to rug, clipping every fucking day - it feels like. Not my favourite season

I only like it when it is cold and crisp - so basically if it is chilly and not pissing it down 24 hours, 7 days a week I'm happy.

Prefer it when it's cold and frosty or when it does snow heavily.

Yeah love the winter.

I like wrapping up all warm and going walks...sod the car..its too nice to drive!

I get to go out with my ferrets, just me and my animals in the fields doing our thing all day with no other humans...it's lovely.

Warm cozy nights in with a book and a hot bath thrown in there.

Rabbit stew in the slow cooker.

Frost patterns on the windows.

Halloween!

Christmas!

Sooooo much to like about winter.

Same for all seasons..they're all choc full of their own lovely things

This.

I lived in Derbyshire for a while. I liked winter already, but it was noticeably more "wintery" away being a long way from the sea. More frosts, more crisp days.

I love snow and really cold days that you know are killing off weird bugs.

Winter is more for snuggling though, I need a snuggle buddy and quick
