Current union player (just about) and having played both codes, league is absolutely brutal ! Not as interesting to watch I'll agree but the game itself is in my opinion the most brutal sport in the world. I had to stop playing league 10 years ago as my body couldn't take it any more. | |||

I went to school with an occasional England flanker (several years my junior- I am the same age as his sister) and the guy is f'kin enormous, and I think a back row would be even bigger! I was hooked back in my League days, but I play on the wing in union, because I'm still faster than the young'uns! | |||
